I was using Infoseek with Manosque as a keyword and was bumped to your server. What a great discovery. Even living in San Diego CA, I can appreciate us having the same interest in mediterranean countries. As to complement your information about Alpes de Haute Provence Terre des Festivals, let it be known about Manosque a l'Affiche and Jazz a Manosque. Their program has been up and running for 10 years and you can find it at Thank you for now. I will be back on your site to check more about it.

Great information. I am currently enamoured of France. I visited Paris for a week in 94 and am dying to get back. I am currently working on a novel about France during the First World War and have another one in mind set during the Second Empire. Keep up the good work. I will be visiting all of your web pages in the future.

I learned more about my little Country than in any other places on the Internet! Even French Official Places! And your informations are really accurate and useful. You make me see France with another loving rafreshing look!
Last of all, you really seem to appreciate our places and regions: you seem more chauvins than ourselves! (not easy!) you give me wonderful ideas for my next hollydays!!

Love your URLs on France!
I would like some help with a history lesson. While driving from France to Luxembourg last year, my wife and I happened upon the Citadel de Montmedy. It was not open (being repaired) but I seem to remember that Montmedy has historical significance. Was it during World War II, or during the Middle Ages? Can you help us with that information?
I am at fclark @
Thank you,

I understand that this page is generally for tourist purposes. However, I am having problems locating any information on terrorist threats in France, particularly the FLNC and the ETA. I am organizing a booklet for an independent research project in anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Any links or advice you could offer me would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards.
