GRIFFON VULTURE
(Gyps Fulvus - Kizil Akbaba)

This is one of the largest predator birds living in Turkey. Griffon vultures are easily distinguished from the other vultures with their white heads.
They mainly feed on carcases. The griffon vulture measures approximately 110 cms.
