SNAKE EAGLE
(Circaetus Gallicus - Yilan Kartali)

These eagles are widely found in forests, rocky hills and open areas. The snake eagles can virtually standstill on the air by utilizing the wind and watch for their prays.
They feed on snakes, mouses, small lizards and turtles. Snake eagles migrate to the warmer south each winter.
It measures 70 to 75 cms.
