Topkapi Palace houses a most important exhibit featuring the Prophet Mohammed's personal belongings : his cloak (hirka), tooth, beard hair, letter, official seal, flag, two swords, a bow and his footprints.
These and a number of other holy relics of Islamic leaders were brought to Istanbul by Ottoman Sultan Selim the first.
