PASABAHCE GLASS COLLECTION

(6th century B.C. - 1st century A.D.)

Three new blossoms were leaning onto the black earth where the stone once was.
One was red, the gleaming red of glass... Like ablaze... Long-necked.
One was yellow, the yellow of growing grains, the yellow of glass... Long-necked.
And the other was blue, the blue of thistle, the blue of sky, the blue of flame, the blue of glass... Long-necked.

I consider glass as a symbol of civilization.
I further see it as a proficiency, also possessing functionality, created by
Man out of the depths of Nature.
